What is SkinPen®
SkinPen® is an advanced medical micro needling device that utilises Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) designed to improve the overall appearance and texture of the skin. It is a micro-needling device that works by creating controlled micro-injuries to the skin’s surface, stimulating the skin’s natural healing process.
How does it work?
SkinPen® creates micro-channels in the skin to trigger a natural immune response to disinfect, remove debris and creates new tissue and blood supply to the area.
This helps to reduce the appearance of various skin concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, acne scarring, pigmentation, melasma, surgical scars, stretch marks and uneven skin tone.
Additionally, SkinPen® can be combined with our advanced skin boosters — NCTF® Boost 135HA or BYRYZN. When micro-channels are created during microneedling, they allow for deeper penetration and enhanced absorption of these high-performance actives.
NCTF Booster® delivers a potent blend of hyaluronic acid, vitamins, amino acids, and antioxidants to intensely hydrate, brighten, and revitalise tired or ageing skin.
BYRYZN features collagen-stimulating PLLA, regenerative polynucleotides, glutathione, and peptides to firm, repair, and renew the skin from within.
Applied during or immediately after your SkinPen® session, these boosters work together to enhance collagen production, accelerate healing, and improve skin tone, texture, and firmness — delivering more powerful, longer-lasting results.

How many treatments are needed?
Approx. 3-6 treatments are needed. 4 weeks apart followed by maintenance treatments.
A topical anaesthetic can be applied before the treatment, to make it more comfortable for the patient.
All SkinPen needling treatments include an aftercare kit to use post treatment to aid in recovery of your skin.
